I'm Michael Guthrie. I spent 28 years building a nationwide ATM business, 8,000+ machines, and sold it in 2023. Today I run Pacific Capital, a multifamily firm with more than $2.3B managed assets, and Wealth Mission Group, a private credit fund my wife Samantha and I built for investors who want monthly cash flow secured by first-lien real estate debt. My approach comes down to one thing: protect the downside first. The upside takes care of itself. The downside is the part you control.

Before all of this, I served in the military and worked as an imaging technician at UCSF and John Muir. Both experiences shaped who I am, teaching me discipline, resilience, compassion, and the importance of serving others.

Together with my wife, I built an ATM distributorship over twenty-eight years, growing it to more than 8,000 machines nationwide. It was a business built on trust, precision, and thousands of small transactions repeated every day.
Along the way, we became known as the ATM Cash King and Queen, a title we carried until our exit in 2023. What began with a $2,000 cash advance on Samantha's credit card grew into an eight-figure business built on trust, discipline, and consistent cash flow.

After years of entrepreneurship and investing, we found our true calling: helping others build wealth the right way. I didn't grow up with wealth, and I didn't inherit a blueprint for building it. Everything I know about business, investing, and stewardship was earned through decades of experience. One lesson at a time.
